From our audience feedback, what I have learned during the process of creating the Digipak, making of the music video and website altogether, has come from using survey monkey to ask questions to our audience to get the most precise, relevant questions in which as a group, we can reflect on and develop our ideas throughout. Especially with the website, as we created drafts as we went along, whilst asking people on what we could improve, we have tweaked and developed our website to create the final design.
Mid- production
We asked variety of questions such as genre and what the website reminded the people we asked of, and also more simple questions such as what they liked so that we could keep these things the same.
The research from beginning to end has helped me learn how to create a precise representation of an artist and the common features of branding an artist and their music to make sure they get the best response for their target audience.
Feedback from our digipak, helped with what we could develop or touch on to make it better and more precise for our target audience. Interviewing Justin who was asked questions which were relevant, I was able to gain a clear understanding of what went well and what we could have improved on with the construction of the digipak and how we could have made Barde as a whole more uniform and less random, however, the careful consideration In some aspects of the digipak, were successful which I saw in the response.
Post production
From the audience feedback from the final music video, we were able to reflect on how the overall genre was reflected and shown through the use of editing and how the lack of narrative worked well with the style of music. Although we didn't have a lot of options and time due to the change in idea because of loss of work in the earlier stages, we were able to learn from this and create a more creative, stylised video in which projected Barde as an artist more. From this feedback, I have learnt that our video lives up to the genre of our music through the clothing, style of fonts within the video and city views on the green screen. The overall process of creating the ancillary tasks and the final video were all based on how our target audience would respond and how we could ask them to help develop and alter issues or reflect on what went well in the creating process.
